Research
Khulisa’s research experience encompasses a wide range of methodologies and approaches, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of inquiry into social and developmental challenges.
We bring experience in formative research for program design – including conducting baselines, landscape reviews, and stakeholder/beneficiary needs analyses – allowing for a thorough exploration of problems and potential responses to ensure intervention designs are well-informed and contextually appropriate. In the realm of social research, we have examined behaviors and the lived experiences of individuals and communities, adding depth and authenticity to findings within the context of social problems and challenges.
Our diverse methodological toolkit – encompassing cost/economic analysis, policy analysis, case studies, ethnographic research, action research, and benchmarking – enables us to adapt the research approach to the specific needs of each study.
Khulisa’s research philosophy emphasizes the identification of a nuanced understanding of complex issues as well as valuable insights for decision-makers, ensuring that research findings are not only academically rigorous but also practically applicable. Through this comprehensive approach, Khulisa generates actionable insights for social and developmental interventions.
Our research contributes to academic knowledge and provides practical, implementable solutions to address social and developmental challenges.
