Khulisa seeks a qualified and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for a Financial Journalism Training Evaluation.
This is a short-term consultancy opportunity based in West Africa.
Qualifications/Experience
- Masters in Economics/Development Studies/M&E/Journalism, Public Relations.
- Minimum six years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of government projects, International Development, or Economics.
- Familiarity with report writing for donors.
- Skills and experience in observation and implementing tools and instruments for evaluation.
- Understanding of Journalism (Financial Journalism) in West Africa.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and French are required.
- Must be based in Côte d’Ivoire or Senegal
Roles and Responsibilities
- Measure and evaluate the progress of the program’s implementation and effectiveness in achieving program objectives and results.
- Track progress in Financial Journalism Training, effectiveness in achieving program outputs, outcomes, and impact.
- Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources (e.g. surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews, observations, document review, etc.).
- Produce appealing reports on progress to date and findings.
- Conduct performance evaluations and other ‘proof of concept’ studies and applied, practical research exercises to help the project team identify promising, integrated and replicable approaches.
- Presentation of findings and recommendations and writing the final report.
