Khulisa evaluators, together with Family Health International (FHI360) staff, have published an article in the Global Journal of Health Science titled, “Predictors of Lost to Follow Up (LTFU) Among HIV-Positive Patients Enrolled in 70 PEPFAR-Supported Facilities in Edo, Bayelsa and Lagos States, Nigeria.” This is the first journal article resulting from Khulisa’s support to the Strategic HIV/AIDS and TB Response Program (SHARP) project in Nigeria.
The article discusses the findings of a cross-sectional study examining demographic factors that predict patients with HIV becoming “Lost to Follow-Up”: the term used when patients enrolled in anti-retroviral treatment for HIV and AIDS discontinue their treatment.
