What is a YEE?

Young and/or Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) is an acronym used in the evaluation community to refer to evaluators that are under the age of 35, new to field with less than five years’ experience, recent university graduates interested in evaluation, and development professionals wishing to become professional evaluators.

The program is spearheaded globally by EvalYouth, an EvalPartners’ initiative.

The African Young & Emerging Evaluators Network was launched at the 6th biennial South African Monitoring & Evaluation (SAMEA) Conference in 2017 by the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA).
