#EvalTuesdayTip: Team collaboration platforms that work

Khulisa recently launched an evaluation design competition for YEEs, in partnership with Play Africa. The competition closed on Friday, and we received 70 applications. The next step is to have our YEEs – from 20 countries – collaborate with each other to prepare and pitch their ideas to the judging panel. But what’s the best platform to do this?

We’re suggesting Slack and Discord to our applicants, because of its responsive, creative features. Through the creation of different channels, Slack keeps any virtual community on the same page, and Discord allows cool voice-chat features. Both platforms offer new ways for teams to engage and share ideas.

As virtual working becomes standard practice, companies need to explore different options (see this list of more) and stick to what works. For the past seven years, Khulisa used Yammer for internal sharing and collaboration.
