We recently came across a very simple, useful explanation of “Rubrics for Program Evaluation” from the University of New Mexico (UNM) Evaluation Lab. The article defines what rubrics are in the context of program evaluation, and then gives a clear example and a list of best practices for creating a rubric to assess a program.
The UNM article inspired us to look back at our 2021 guest blog by evaluation expert Tom Aston: “The Value of Contribution and Evidence Rubrics for Evaluations.”
