Household Surveys are costly and time-intensive, and often the collected data is not analysed or reported. Khulisa used Rapid Group Surveys as a cost-effective and efficient alternative to collect data on poultry- and small livestock ownership in Ethiopia, Tanzania and India for the Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines (GALVmed).
See this Poster Presentation, first presented at the 7th AfrEA Conference in Uganda in 2017, for more about Rapid Group Surveys as a data collection method.
