Khulisa isn’t the only evaluation organization providing regular tips for evaluators. The American Evaluation Association, in its AEA365 blog, provides an evaluation tip every day of the year.

We particularly liked this AEA365 tip from a few weeks ago by Zoraya Cruz-Bonilla, called “Unlocking Data: Extracting Data Tables from PDFs with Power Query”. Cruz-Bonilla recommends Power Query, “a reliable tool for extracting data tables due to its data transformation and data preparation capabilities”. Power Query, an Excel tool, is a great option for extracting tables from PDFs into Excel or Power BI without resorting to a more labor-intensive, copy-paste method.

For a detailed explanation of how to use Power Query, including a helpful YouTube tutorial, read the AEA365 post. And follow AEA365 for more great evaluation tips.
