Khulisa is participating in the Eval4Action Walk the Talk by creating 1-minute long clips to show that we are committed to evaluations to strengthen policy and practice. Here are some tips from our editing team on how we create excellent and concise videos:
- Your script should be direct. Make sure your story comes across quickly and clearly.
- Make sure your presenter is comfortable with the subject they are speaking about. This helps your subject look and feel more natural on camera.
- Film your content in intervals. Record your presenter speaking 2 – 3 sentences maximum. This helps your presenter to be comfortable with the words and speak confidently.
- Create captions. Ensure that second language speakers can understand what is being said and where to get more information. When editing, ensure the font is clear and attractive and add your logo.
