Senior M&E and Business Development Specialist
Jacob Laden joined Khulisa in 2025 as a Senior M&E and Business Development Specialist. In this position, Jacob supports technical and business development activities including proposal writing, program evaluation, and project management, collaborating with teams in the U.S. and South Africa.
Before joining Khulisa, Jacob spent more than 17 years providing technical oversight and leadership to international development projects. He has held leadership roles on USAID monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) platforms in Tanzania, Honduras, and Pakistan, conducting research and learning activities focusing on democracy and governance, technical assistance, and education programs. From 2017-2023, Jacob led the research, evaluation, and assessments component and served as NORC’s resident advisor for USAID Tanzania’s Data for Development Activity. He also served as Deputy Chief of Party for USAID’s Monitoring and Evaluation for Collaborative Learning Activity in Honduras.
Jacob holds a master of arts degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University.
