The American Evaluation Association’s “AEA365” blog, which provides a tip a day for evaluators, recently published a useful post about interactive qualitative dashboards.
“While many of us are familiar with visualizing quantitative data, open-ended survey responses often get overlooked and under-utilized,” write the post’s authors, Shelly Engelman and Tom Withee. “However, these rich, narrative insights are just as crucial.”
The post includes a link to a tutorial on how to create qualitative dashboards in Microsoft Excel, tips on how to design the dashboards effectively, and three free downloadable templates. Read the full post.
