Finance Manager
Mrs. Tamara Chilinkhwambe joined Khulisa in 2024 as a Finance Manager focusing primarily on managing a team of five finance personnel and responsible for managing, interpreting, developing, implementing, and monitoring all accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
Mrs Chilinkwambe has over 15 years’ experience in the management of donor-funded organizations – including the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, the U.N. Fund for Population Activities, and the Global Fund – responsible for financial planning, risk management, record keeping, and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Khulisa, Mrs. Chilinkhwambe worked as the Finance Director at Centre for Community Impact, where she led the organization’s financial planning and analysis function, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for multiple projects and donors, among other tasks. Mrs. Chilinkhwambe has also worked as a Finance and Operations Director for Panagora Group, where she administered additional financial and operational tasks.
Mrs. Chilinkhwambe holds a Master of Commerce in Development Finance from the University of Cape Town, a Chartered Management Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK), and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Malawi.
