Environment & Energy
Khulisa has provided monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) support to various environment and energy projects across Africa.
These projects aimed to promote sustainable resource use, expand affordable and reliable electricity services, and develop a green economy workforce, by addressing climate change resilience, renewable energy development, and the creation of green jobs.
We have assessed sustainable natural resource use among rural women, supported power infrastructure projects in East Africa, and analyzed the skills gap in Kenya’s green energy sector.
These projects involved conducting surveys and assessments to gather data on current practices, workforce skills, and industry needs. This information was then used to inform policy decisions, improve training programs, and guide investment in the green economy.
Overall, these projects reflect a focus on supporting Africa’s transition to sustainable energy practices while promoting economic growth and job creation in the renewable energy sector.
