MERL Capacity Strengthening
The United Nations defines capacity-strengthening as “the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world”. Since its inception, Khulisa has been dedicated to enhancing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) capacity at individual and organizational levels. Building sustainable MERL competence is a cornerstone of our service offerings.
Our MERL capacity strengthening solutions support clients in building a high-performance culture of evidence-based decision making. We work closely with clients to design transformative training programs (in-person and online) that combine conceptual training with applied learning. For clients seeking deeper capability support, we provide personal coaching and mentoring tailored to unique goals.
Beyond individual skills development, we also support organizations with data and knowledge management systems, optimizing MERL processes, tools, and infrastructure to elevate data-driven program planning and implementation.
Whether engaging in team trainings, one-on-one coaching, or organizational MERL structures, our capacity strengthening support empowers clients to amplify the impacts they can achieve.
